Localization Sales and Marketing Manager-Interpreting & Translation:

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager candidate would be responsible for generating new business opportunities to develop profitable and enduring business relationships with new clients while managing the lifecycle of projects in over 100 languages.
  • You must be comfortable and effective with prospecting, cold calling and personal meetings over video, phone, and in-person.
  • Accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities.
  • Create and implement a Marketing and PR strategy.

Homeland Language Services has over 15 years of experience developing interactive solutions for industries from Customer services, Legal, to Healthcare, providing high quality of Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI), Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), Onsite Interpretation & Translation Services.

We provide services in over 100 languages. Due to steady and ongoing growth, we are now looking for an experienced Localization Sales and Marketing Manager in interpretation and translation to expand our U.S. and international client base market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience and proficiency in understanding and delivering to the Healthcare industry.
  • Experience and proficiency in understanding interpreting and translation industry.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Set and achieve sales goals, by connecting with new clients to develop business, through cold calling, marketing campaigns, market research, RFP response, etc. across all industries.
  • Work with international team of developers and language specialists overseas.
  • Monitor company sales KP’s and sales performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client contacts.
  • Create a marketing strategy for the company to be approved by the directors.
  • Respond to client requests for new project initiatives.
  • Ability to meet or consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with various members of the production and sales teams to assess the scope of work.
  • Attend sales meetings, sales calls and prepare RFP responses.
  • Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs and company culture.
  • Perform workflow design and onboarding for localization services and technology implementations.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Progressive sales and marketing experience selling within the translation/interpretation/localization services into Customer services, Legal and Healthcare organizations (3-5 years)Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Experience working as part of a team in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
